The Devils Own
In 1999 “Pitbull” Skull Ganz & his brother "Big Double D” Devil Dawg formed the Devils Own to take on Thug Life consisting of Sexton Hardcastle (Edge), Christen Cage, Rhino Richards (Rhyno), Joe E Legend & Test in a promotion called Insane Championship Wrestling, promoted by the Late “Sweet Daddy” Malcolm Monroe Sr.
They soon gained momentum as a great tag-team in the ICW. In 2000 the Group started tormenting wrestlers in XICW, MWCW, HCW, NWA MI and other Michigan Indies, adding members such as Eddie Venom, Mr. Insanity, K-Nine & the late “Punisher” Rock Stevens managed by Handsome Johnny Bradford. The Group was unstoppable and took every promotion by storm. With Skull sidelined by an injury in 2002 and Bradford lost a loser leave XICW to Miss Natasha She & Skull started to co-manage the Devils Own they put a new tag-team together called “Devils Venom” with Devil Dawg & Eddie Venom. Devils Venom dominated every tag-team with little effort. But distention grew fast as Eddie and Dawg felt that each other wasn’t holding their own weight, thus costing the group the XICW tag team Titles. With Eddie and Dawg at each others necks, the two fought it out and loser was kicked out of the Devils Own. With Skull’s help Devil Dawg made quick work of Eddie Venom. Mr In sanity was kicked out of XICW due to booking troubles, so they were down to Skull, Dawg & K-Nine which was the weakest link (Good bye). Now the Devils Own is back as the tag team that strikes fear into each of there opponents. XICW bookers have been using Devils Own as there own personal enforcers. The Devils Own wanted a shot at the XICW Tag Team Titles but keeps running into doing favors for the Promoters and not getting what is promised. The champions are always running out of their matches when they hear the entrance “BE OUR VICTIMS.”
